Han Mu Cheol, aka ‘K-Scrooge’, the owner of Daewoon Building, believes that money is everything in the world. Mu Cheol, who is more obsessed with making money than with his family, is rich enough to own several buildings, but he is a miser who trembles at the thought of 100 won, and his speciality is spewing venom at people. One day, when he is desperate to have even a little more, misfortune begins to strike. Kim Dae Sik was Mu Cheol’s high school classmate and rival but is currently Mu Cheol’s tenant. Dae Sik, who runs a chicken restaurant on the first floor of the Daewoon Building with his wife, is a K-father who is devoted to his family and is united with love and trust despite having nothing. However, when his evil landlord and friend, Mu Cheol, raises the deposit, he faces the risk of bankruptcy. Choi Gyu Tae is a friend of Mu Cheol and Dae Sik and the president of Ildeung Real Estate. Gyu Tae is a clever sage and good at flattery. He is grateful to Mu Cheol for entrusting him with all the buildings, but he also has a lot to gain. After his wife passed away, he raised his son Min Yong alone, but he suddenly faces a big obstacle when he needs money for his son’s heart surgery.
imo Mi Ja will continued to be arrogant, selfish and lazy even if her husband recovers his wealth. She always were, still is and will be in the future.
I guess the purpose of the show is to show you that money is the root of all evil. They were a family before they had money now that there’s money the family is being torn apart because of greed the one daughter finally got what she wanted. They helped her pay off her debt now she wants more money so that her husband who has never accomplished anything can start another business that he can fail at oh gosh, this is so stupid. She knows her husband‘s worthless and it was his mother helping them out for years that got them by but now she’s gonna ask from $5 million to start a business for her husband to fail at
Technically, Han Mu Cheol is entitled to the lottery winnings. I hope that in the end, Kim Dae Sik—being an honest person—will do the right thing and share the prize money with Mu Cheol. Likewise, although Choi Gyu Tae succumbed to greed due to his sick son’s medical costs and his inflated ego, I believe Hwang Geum Ok will be able to guide him back to the right path and persuade him to return the properties he holds under his name back to Mu Cheol.
So, one is going to be scammed like Mu Chul did, and one is becoming a Scrooge, as Mu Chul was. Hahaha
What was he planning on doing with the money if not to he help his hardworking son out , besides stealing half the winnings from his horrible (sic)friend his wife had every right to take that money 1/2 of his half is legally hers … honestly these supposed childhood friends are all horrible people with friends like these who needs enemies cones to mind ! I wonder what is the purpose of these daily shows , all of them just show the most despicable personalities and traits of the characters I mean, is there a benefit to showing people behave the way these characters do , OK, honestly, they all have the same theme evil people doing bad things even if they don’t start out as evil it seems to be that you know money is the downfall of all of them. I wonder how many people believe that this is actually the proper way to act and it gives them justification to just be mean and greedy.

So stupid wins lottery & what just hide the money instead of using it to help his son who’s trustworthy start his business after his investor backed out now using the excuse no one helped him right & look where he was at before the lottery win in his 50’s losing his business & home really stupid premise , What parent wouldn’t help their qualified child if they could afford to … what does he plan on doing with the money anyway just leaving it just letting it sit there and do nothing to help him& his family l OK yeah they bought the house.
