The story follows the bold and spirited neurosurgeon Liu Zi Yi, who is preparing to marry her boyfriend when she discovers that he has been admitted to the hospital where she works due to a special circumstance. Devastated, she decides to end the relationship gracefully. Meanwhile, the optimistic cardiothoracic surgeon Qin Wen Bin appears carefree, but in reality, he is fully aware of his situation.
