In 2003, a mining town in Ningxia faced relocation when suddenly a burned female body appeared in front of the police station. The circumstances of the case are very similar to an unsolved murder case from 10 years ago. The retired police officer Chu Zhi Qiang and Zhang Tao, who was reassigned to Ningxia, work together to solve the case while simultaneously having to deal with the relocation of the town.
