The protagonist Kobe Misa, who has always lived a life of a “supporting character” because she is too kind and always puts others first, believes in her best friend and husband and continues to do her best, but she loses her life due to their betrayal. However, she suddenly realizes that she has traveled back in time to 10 years ago. Misa plans revenge to ruin her former best friend and husband, but her encounter with Suzuki Wataru, a department manager with whom she had no connection in her first life, brings about a new change in Misa’s heart as she seeks revenge…
I’ve just completed the drama and I must say, I prefer this one over the Korean version.
I really loved the Korean version but it was really dramatic to the point that it got stressful to watch at times. This version focuses more on the story and romance, which I really like.
If I were to watch ‘Marry My Husband’ with a friend, I would watch the Japanese version.
Also, it’s just 10 episodes and not dramatically dragging 16 episodes. The Korean version does not seem dragging because of the constant drama, but looking at it from a storyline perspective, it is pretty dragging
Pause 32:14 Episode 9
SPOILER ALERT
So since we’re almost at the finale…they won’t add the ML’s evil, spoiled, bratty, princess syndrome ex-wife? (Boa’s character in the K-drama version) That’s great!
The revelation of them being both returnees from 2025…not as iconic that “Dynamite & Spring Day scene”…sorry I’m not comparing…I was just waiting for the J-drama version of that scene…and it wasn’t as shocking as I was expecting. It was more like…a heavy drama part.
I have to pause and share my thoughts coz lately I keep on getting distracted and loses the momentum and just don’t comment on some dramas I’m watching…ok going back.
Episode 9 admin plss
Episode 8
SPOILER ALERT
I know that we shouldn’t compare this to the Korean version coz they are two different adaptation of the manhwa…plus both has it’s own charm… I’m not sure if this is because only has 10 episodes (it only has 10 right?) and that it was said that the Japanese version is literally like in the manhwa…but this version is really so intense…like on choke hold.
So are they not going to input that ex-wife character of the ML? Well that would be good coz in the K-version most of the comments and reactions was “she was an unnecessary character”.
Also that revelation part…so they still didn’t know that both of them time travelled? Or did Director Suzuki just “didn’t believe” her coz he knows that the destiny will always happen unless transfered? So he’ll die again…is that why he’s now pushing her?
but ML didn’t have an ex-wife in the k-version. She was an arranged ex-fiance.
Pause 11:33 Episode 7
I’m not sure if I missed seeing a scene last week but does Misa and the Director know that they both have gone back? Coz sometimes they talk vaguely and secretive as to not spoil too much information…but sometimes like this (11:33) they seemed to know that they are both from the future.
Btw, since it’s a 10 episode drama, I thought they won’t explore that part that the FL’s got cheated fate will go to her co-worker…but they established that new restaurant worker so I guess the husband is cheating with his staff.
EP 6: Best episode yet. The meeting the parents scene is golden and the last scenes had me smiling.
Oh 5 & 6 isn’t out here yet… better save my comment for tomorrow.
This drama is amazing even in this version.
Yes yes, Japanese version is also good will changes. I loved it. I am watching it bcz of the ML and story
