I know their heart list but this is just beyond I mean in one second he be crying and devastated that his son died and the next he’s letting his wife who caused the accident Live in the same house as the rest of his family. They’re all despicable, but this is totally unacceptable.

In most makjang revenge dramas, the turning point for the main character usually involves something like a miscarriage—still heartbreaking, but often used to open the character’s eyes to the truth about those around her.
That’s why I found it especially difficult that this particular drama chose to go as far as to kill off an existing child right at the beginning. It made me very uncomfortable, and while I understand that every writer has their own message and creative vision, this direction just isn’t something I personally feel ready to explore.
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I had already decided not to watch this drama, and this episode only reaffirmed that choice for me. Just wanted to share my thoughts as I pass through—take care, everyone!t.
I agree with you this drama is particularly cruel. I’ve never watched anything like this before. Honestly, I’ve only been watching these daily for not even the last year because I usually don’t like revenge dramas I’m an empath and find it very upsetting. I take it to heart. I actually feel like I’m part of it and I can’t deal with the sorrow especially in this horrible atmosphere in the world today. There’s so much negativity I started watching these to fill up time because I’ve watched K dramas for eight years I’ve seen hundreds of them, but I watched them for entertainment and to put a smile on my face and that’s not happening anymore very rarely do I find anything do I find any pleasant and enjoyable I know about all the horrendous things that happen to people and happen in the world and I don’t want it shoved in my face daily, which is what these dailies are doing now, but this one is really really over the top to kill off two innocent people for no reason other then greed is gutwrenching
They’ve killed off children in dailies before. In kdrama, not 1 can escape from the speeding truck. Kids, adults, animals, etc. They just freeze like deer. Lmbo. They have No-Eye-Deer Syndrome. After tripping over nothing & spraining the ankle, they become helpless anyway.
The one that recently finished about the Phone ringing begins with a toddler being killed & a grandfather that killed plenty of orphan kids. The kid cull list is very long with these. Especially Joseon ones.
