A graduate student in the Archaeology Department at Qin Chuan University, Fang Kun assists in the recovery of cultural relics lost overseas. He discovers that an unknown tomb in Yincun, Bailuyuan, might be the Ziling Tomb of Emperor Taizong of the Han Dynasty. His mentor, Zhan Mao Chang, takes him to Bailuyuan for an on-site investigation, but he unexpectedly loses his life. With his mentor’s wishes in mind, Fang Kun volunteers to go to Yusai for Great Wall archaeology.
The unknown tomb in Yincun, Bailuyuan, draws the attention of the archaeological team, and Fang Kun is invited to participate in the investigation. There, he reunites with his former lover, Luo Qing, who has become the team leader, and they discover an ancient tomb shaped like the Chinese character “亞” (ya). Fang Kun revisits his previous theories, sparking controversy and interest while also attracting the attention of cultural relic criminals.
