The purchase, selling, or owning of a gun is banned in South Korea. There are almost zero crime cases involving guns in the country. Things change quickly. Illegal guns, from unknown sources, are brought into the country and gun incidents proliferate.
Lee Do is a righteous detective. In the past, he served in the military as a sniper. Now, Lee Do struggles to stop a series of gun incidents and chases after the source of the illegal firearms.
Moon Baek is a key figure in the underground arms broker world. He acts like an easygoing person, but he is a person who meticulously plans out his actions and then puts his plan into action. These two men, Lee Do and Moon Baek, hold a gun for their own reasons.

a very self conscious villain…the tattoos, the hair, the style. tries too hard to be cool.
he is supposed to have grown up in the US, but still spoke with such a heavy almost unintelligible accent.
This was so good it says a lot about being a human! enjoyed all of it!!

Must have been nice if a “lee do” existed and saved moon baek and all the other kids back when he was just a kid being exploited by useless adults, they needed that–the villain played his part well also it’s nice that they included the details of him being sick as stated–sick but still wants to rock the world!😂😒

We’ve seen many pieces like this to morales of the drama are just rehashed and presented again in a new light. But there’s always a difference because ideals are never the same in everyone. Like 10 ppl can all like pizza but all want different toppings and variations. Society ‘norms’ are constantly changing.
My wife and I share similar views on most. I won’t go into much here because her and will be debating this (with glee 🤩) for the next few days. Meaning we did NOT see eye to eye on everything here. Bullying, school violence, guns and gun control, crime and punishment, inaction by higher ups etc……this was the motherlode in controversial topics. Reporter definitely reinforced my immense……………..dislike of all in that profession lol~
Unique story, such a HUGE plus and a strong incentive to take this in. Dramas nowadays always give you the feeling of having seen something like it in the past. Villain was awesome with really good lore. And we know what to expect from ML, he’s pretty consistent. But this was not the best drama. Some nice side stories but I wasn’t impressed w/ half of the supporting cast. Netflix has spoiled us too much with past casting and they DID cutback like they said, not that I blame them. Good or bad, their stuff is crazy high with production costs. Still lots of familiar faces. 8/10

Unfortunately…….that is true……….or will be if SK isn’t careful. They’ve still got a lower crime rate than many others. City wide cams and gun laws definitely play a huge part. Really depends on who they let in. You look at Japan, Australia, UK, India, Germany etc…….Rapes and violent crimes have tripled-quintupled in the last 5 yrs or so since they starting letting in foreigners, especially those whose think their beliefs shield and allow them to do w/e they want~
